We started our quest years ago,
looking to adopt a life long
featherd companion. Well now our
family has increased by 7, all
feathered. I cannot imagine life
without our feathered family
members. They are so wonderful and
provide such great companionship.
Our feathered family members
consist of: (Zeus) Green Winged
Macaw, Sammy (Blue and Gold Macaw),
Meiko (Citron Cockatoo), Shadow
(Shaded silver red-factor African
Grey), Cosmo (Red-sided male
eclectus), Sunny (Sun Conure)
and Sinatra (Moluccan Male
Cockatoo). Just look at our photo
albulm and you will see their
pictures!

Plain and simple, we love birds!
We know that it is a Journey to
find that perfect feathered life
long companion or companions. We
can relate! Early on, we took that
Journey! We understand that there
is a lot of mis-information out
there and also there are many
malicous people out there selling
birds for only profit and are not
mentally vested in the well being
of the bird or the people that are
purchasing the bird - well let me
tell you that we are different!

We
love and cherish each and every
bird that we raise, we are
constantly learning about featherd
companions from our 7 feathered
companions so we have first hand,
daily experience with feathered
companions and we are picky about
where our birds go. This is
imperative for the bird and for
potential adopters of the birds. In
some cases, a bird was not sold
because we felt that it was not a
good match for the bird and
family.

Since we are totally committed to
your happiness with a feathered
companion and the happiness and
well being of the bird, we offer
something unique and that is free
consulting for you and your
feathered companion for life. Yes,
for life! Why, because we care!

We
can teach you how to potty train a
bird, clip their wings and nails,
how to build a nourishing respectful
relationship with your feathered
companion which includes
disclipline. Also, we can share our
feathered companion
experiences with you so that you can
get a good picture of how wonderful
it is to have feathered companions
as part of the family.

Additionally, we are a closed
aviary to the public but we are
glad to show our babies to those
who are serious about the
acquisition of a feathered
companion. This is by appointment
but we are very flexible and
accomodating to people's
schedules. Additionally, we are
more than happy to meet you half
way if you are close to Conway,
Arkansas.
We have a large selection of baby
feathered comanions availble for
purchase. If we do not have the
feathered companion you are looking
for then we have partnerships with
2 other aviaries that are happy to
work with. They share our passion
and love for birds! So if we do not
have the feathered companion you
are looking for then we can most
likely get the feathered companion
you are looking for.
Now a little about how we raise
them. Our love for exotic birds is
directly reflected in the way we
raise them. We cherish each and
every baby and we integrate them
into our flock for the duration of
their stay with us. Therefore, when
you receive a baby bird from us,
rest assured that your baby has
received the best possible
development diet and care! He/she
will be psychologically
(emotionally solid and well
socialized) fit for his/her new
home.
Regarding food, we start off
feeding the babies only the best
formula (mixed with vitamins)
reflective of their species and
feeding needs. A s they grow, we
start adding soft foods such as
vegetables and fruit; then finally,
we add nuts, grains and pellet
foods.
Correct socialization, emotional
development and human normalization
are fundamental for the well being
of a bird. That is why we ensure
that they are exposed to normal
household activities, noises, dogs
and other birds; additionally, we
work with their wings and feet a
lot to allow them to see that this
is ok so that you will be able to
easily clip their wings and nails
as needed. The baby birds are
introduced to many new toys and
play areas to provide stimulation
and exercise.
Our babies are ready to ship once
they have been weaned. Allowing
them to wean provides us with time
to instill a baby with a solid
foundation that will allow the bird
to become a lifetime, loving
companion!
